About Bordeaux Wines
Bordeaux is the largest growing region in France and home to many of the world's most prestigious wines. It is located in southwest France and has a moderate maritime climate that extends the growing season and allows for riper fruit. Bordeaux is roughly divided into the sub-regions of Medoc and Graves on the western side of the Gironde river, referred to as the Left Bank; Pommerol and St. Emilion are on the eastern side known as the Right Bank; and the area between the Gironde and the Dordogne rivers known as Entre-Deux-Mers.
